From April 2008 a new free bus pass for travel throughout the UK will be introduced for residents over 60 years of age or with disabilities. Those holders of a blue badge on the 1st. April 2008 need not apply, they will be sent a pass automatically. Others will need to apply, for further information contact 01752 668000 or email to publictransport@plymouth.gov.uk

Concessions For Tamar Bridge and Torpoint Ferries
Concessions are available for both the Tamar Bridge and Torpoint Ferries to thoses in reciept of the "High Level Mobility Component" of Disability Living Allowance, or War Pension with "Mobility Supplement"

Rod License Concessions For Disabled Anglers
Currently holders of blue badges need only pay half the license fee on production of their blue badge
Next year 2008 this consession will be extended to people in reciept of Disability Living Allowance on production of a letter showing their entitlement to the benefit
